We are very happy to share this inspiring update from Friends of the Street Africa.
Five of our children who once lived on the streets are now studying hard at Seed of Hope Vocational Training Center. They started their classes in January and are still attending regularly with great focus and excitement.
Christian, Samwel, and David are taking Motor Vehicle Automotive Engineering. They are learning how to repair and maintain cars and other vehicles. This skill will help them find good jobs in the future.
“I never thought I would have a chance to learn a real skill. Now I wake up every day excited to go to class. One day I will repair cars and take care of my family.”

Shila and Johnson are studying Beauty and Cosmetics. They are learning hairdressing, makeup, and all aspects of cosmetology so they can work in salons or even start their own small businesses one day.
These five young people came from difficult situations on the street. Today they are full of hope and working hard to change their lives. Their progress shows that with love, support, and the right opportunity, every street child can rise and build a better tomorrow.
We are so proud of their commitment and daily effort. Every class they attend brings them one step closer to independence and success.
This journey is made possible because of your continued prayers, donations, and support. Thank you for believing in these young lives and walking with us.
Together we are transforming street children into skilled, confident, and self-reliant young adults ready to shine in the world.

We are incredibly proud of their hard work, resilience, and growing confidence. Every tool they pick up, every hairstyle they perfect, every engine part they understand is a step away from the streets and toward dignity, self-reliance, and joy.
None of this would be possible without you — our donors, volunteers, prayer partners, and supporters who make outreach, rescue, and skill-building programs sustainable. Your generosity is literally changing futures.
We will continue sharing updates on their progress, including photos (with permission), milestones, and perhaps their graduation day! Stay connected — these stories are just beginning.
Together, we are proving that no child belongs on the street. With opportunity and love, they belong in classrooms, workshops, and bright futures.
